UNFPA, the United Nations Population Fund, is the lead UN agency for delivering a world where every pregnancy is wanted, every childbirth is safe and every young person's potential is fulfilled. As an international development agency it promotes the right of every woman, men and child to enjoy a life of health and equal opportunity.  UNFPA supports countries in using population data for policies and programmes to reduce poverty.
Under the new Country Programme 2019-2022, UNFPA Ecuador currently has opened the following vacancies:

  • ICT Associate (Programme) – Fixed Term Appointment – Applications are for Ecuadorian nationals only – Duty Station Quito-Ecuador
  • Population and Development Consultant (Service Contract) –Applications are for Ecuadorian nationals as well as for those with  legal status that allow applicants to work in Ecuador.  Duty Station Quito-Ecuador
  • Coordinator – Project Early warning and rapid response in the northern border of Ecuador (Service Contract) – Applications are for Ecuadorian nationals as well as for those with legal status that allow applicants to work in Ecuador.  Duty Station - Carchi
  • Local Coordinator – Carchi  -Project Early warning and rapid response in the northern border of Ecuador (Service Contract) Applications are for Ecuadorian nationals as well for as for those with legal status that allow applicants to work in Ecuador.   Duty Station - Carchi

Candidates should submit their applications only through E-Recruit System of UNFPA starting September 9, 2019 until   September 23, 2019.
